2. BROWSE THE WEB.
With so many interesting features on the web design scene today it can be hard to choose. Do some online research. Pick a few websites you love and select the top 3 aspects that you find appealing across all your favorites. We bet you will find a consistent theme. Maybe, it’s the use of video, a certain color, or the navigation technique. Relay this to your designer. (If they asked you to send links to sites you love, they probably already determined this.)
3. DETERMINE YOUR CTA?
Not sure what a CTA is? It’s your CALL TO ACTION. What do you want your web users to do? Tell them! Is it call you? Email you? Register? Become a member? Make that message is clear, relay that to your design team, and they can formulate a strategy to make it happen.
4. LET GO.
Once you have met with your design team, sent them all the essentials, and handed them the project for development let it go. Let your team do their magic. You love their work, right? Their website engaged you enough to call and subsequently hire them? This doesn’t mean that you don’t have creative control, it means that should listen to their advice.
